About Ivy Daydreams

Hi! My name is Nicole Flanagan. This website is a space for both my creative and professional pursuits. Under the posts tab, you can find my personal, creative writing that I do to stay close with myself. In the portfolio tab, you can keep updated with my past and current journalistic projects. 

I recently graduated from American University with a degree in journalism and literature (so this is pretty fitting). I am a full-time reporter with the New Jersey Hills Media Group, a non-profit run newsroom that covers Northern Jersey. 

I aspire to fuse both literature and journalism into one as I continue to report on what matters to communities around us. I hope to inspire others and BE inspired by others while traveling and reporting across the country, or, maybe the world. My goal is to become an investigative reporter or an accountability reporter. I can bring both my writing and researching skills that I've developed over years of practice, through internships and classes as well as on my own.
